It was the most organized chaos I have ever seen.
There were 100+ degree temperatures. There were two existing homes within 10 feet on either side. There were over 200 people clambering for work space at one homesite.
What an example of all that’s good with the human race.
But the biggest challenge of all was time. How do you do in 7 days what usually takes over 5 months? First of all, you get organized. And you call all of your friends.
I couldn’t believe there were so many volunteers that we had to turn some away. This family is loved.
John Laing Homes had about five weeks to plan our biggest endeavor yet. While the Sacramento Division headed-up the action, the entire John Laing family pitched in on the effort, including employees, trade partners, friends and community volunteers.
